Our History
Coreshield is a family run business founded in 1993 by the present Managing Director. After spending several years in the Royal Air Force working as a radar technician, he then entered civilian life and worked with the only British specialist screening company at that time.
The exposure to varied specialist and often technically challenging screening projects, throughout the UK and Europe culminated in decades of invaluable experience.
Coreshield operate in every market sector, providing bespoke screening systems for:-
- EMF protection against stray magnetic fields generated by transformers, switchgear and HV/LV cables.
- ELF protection for research and electron beam equipment against DC fields.
- EMC compliance and test chambers for military and Industrial applications.
- EMP protection systems for military and civil applications.
Coreshield offer a comprehensive service, including project assessment and management, 3D field modelling, 2D graphic illustration, CAD design and extensive manufacturing capability through to test and compliance certification.
With a long and enviable history of successful projects, including some of the largest and most technically challenging in the UK and Europe.
